   Notes from owner about “Sam”

 

 

   Always goes in water from puddles to rivers

 

   Chases cats and rabbits

 

   Good with other dogs, ponies and other animals

 

   Excellent guard dog --- will let you know always!

 

   Dislikes;  Thunder and lightening

                 Hoover noise

                 Lawn mower

                Any loud noises

 

    Not very used to towns  - nervous of noisy traffic and crowds

 

   Used to sleeping in car overnight when necessary

 

   VERY possessive of car  Watch out for other children or adults approaching car to talk to you or when           giving lifts.  If he growls he means business!

 

   Will chew teddies etc

 

 

   Loves cold floors to sleep on and to be cool generally. Summer heat is too much--- keep in cool and                 exercise early or late.

 

   Two meals a day suits him better than one.

 

   Words recognised:-   sit; stay; heel; this way/come on; [get] down; car; dinner; biscuits; walk; leave             [something].
